A Collection of Common Tree Imprints on Slate Tiles

A collection of sixty slate tile leaf imprints show off the major southern Appalachian tree and forest shrub species. These plants make up the most abundant plants located in forests in the upper Southeast.
A National Endowment for the Arts project grant, called Millennium Trails, was approved and awarded to Alabama in 1997. The Alabama project was called the Pinhoti Trail Sculpture Archway and located at the Cheaha State Park entrance to the Pinhoti Trail.
Pinhoti is a name derived from the Creek Indian words pinwa (turkey) and huti (home). The trail is in the Talladega National Forest in east central Alabama and includes more than 100 miles of hiking trails. The Cheaha Wilderness Area is just a little over one mile from the archway.

1. Wash and dry chosen garment.
2. Place a protective backing underneath the design area.
3. Shake bottle. Paint onto fabric using a soft brush.
4. Allow to dry.
5. To fix the colour, cover the painted area with a clean cloth and iron on a very hot setting for 1-2 minutes. Fix between layers if you are painting more than one coat.
6. The fabric returns to its original softness after washing.
Tips for using Fabric Paints:
• The basic colour range works best on light coloured fabrics. If using on dark fabrics, apply one or two layers or white paint first, fixing between each layer.
• The ‘Fabric Paints for Dark Fabrics’ are especially formulated to give bright colours on dark fabrics.
• Metallic colours give excellent results on both dark and light coloured fabrics.
• For an unlimited range of lighter shades mix with white paint.

티셔츠에도 환경바람
티셔츠에도 환경의 바람을 넣고 있으며
그것을 알리면서 그것을 통해 돈을 번다.
그리고 그런걸 입어서 환경문제에 관심이 많은 것 처럼 보이기도 하고
또는 전혀 모르고 그냥 이뻐서 입기도 한다.
오가닉이라서 몸에 좋을까 하고 입기도 하고
80년대 그냥 타임지 꼽고 다니는 것처럼 입기도 한다.
과연 친환경적이며 편안한 옷은 무엇이며
변하지 않는 옷의 디자인은 어쩐 것인가?

단추 없는 것은 여성용으로 ??
사실 여성용은 단추 없는 것으로 만들어도 된다 목이 어차피 넓으니까 그냥 만들어도
별로 문제점이 될 것은 없다.
같은 천을 써서 목주변을 돌이며 된다.
,그런데 여자는 그 자체가 소비성이 크다.
6개월을 못입는 티가 수두룩할 수도 있으며 그것이 낭비이고 에너지 소비이다.
어려운 일이지.
등 친환경적인 소비는 문제이다.
별로 문제점이 될 것은 없다.
같은 천을 써서 목주변을 돌이며 된다.

모두 장 단점은 있을 수 있지만 난 단추가 달린 것이 친환경적이라고 생각을 한다 좀더 오래 입을 수 있는 옷이고 목에 쫄쫄이를 넣지않고 그냥 면으로 처리할 수 있으며 머리가 큰 놈도 잘 입을 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
문 전을 그냥 그대로 이용할 수 있지않을까 한다.

티셔츠 단추는 꼭 목재로 만들고 싶다 그래야 할 것이 분명하다 그런데 하나당 가격이 만만하지는 않다. 500원에서 1000원 정도 한다는데 그건 너무나 비싼것 아니야?
그래도 쓰고 싶으면 써야지
다시한번 생각하니 부속품도 신경써야 할 것이 많을 것으로 보인다.
